Responsibilities:

Managed the daily workflow, animated the website, and supervised editing, translation and publishing.

 

2019 – 2021: Non-resident Senior Fellow and academic adviser at :

  • Hangzhou’s Center for International Economic Cooperation (Charigo),
  • Beijing’s Center for China and Globalization,
  • Hangzhou’s Sino-European Center,
  • and Shanghai University for International Studies’ Sino-Arab Cooperation Center.

Writing analyses on world politics, particularly the Middle East, and offering guidance on Arab-Chinese ties.

 

2013 – 2019: Researcher and Consultant at the Diplomatic Institute, Doha. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

Responsibilities :

  • Presenting working papers and analyses on worldwide and regional issues.
  • Providing guidance on specific Diplomatic Institute subjects of interest or foreign policy.
  • Preparing an annual report (Qatar in the Eyes of Others) on the follow-up and analysis of politicians, media professionals, and academics’ stances and opinions on Qatari policies and classifications of foreign institutions and organisations (economic, political and human rights).
  • Academic advice to Diplomatic Institute students and personnel completing a master’s or doctorate dissertation.

 

2011-2013: Associate Researcher, Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (Doha), Qatar.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the policy analysis unit of the centre.
  • Head of academic publishing on the website.
  • Preparing the release of the first issue of the Centre’s journal: Policies (Siyasat).

 

2009 – 2011:  Researcher at the Sorbonne University’s Centre for Contemporary Oriental Studies ( Paris 3.)

Responsibilities :

  •   Editing and publishing a  trilingual peer-reviewed academic journal in cooperation with the Director of the Centre and several research professors in France and abroad. ( 6 quarterly issues were published): Middle East Studies. ISSN: 2109-9618.
  • Translating several texts of Islamic heritage in history and excerpts from the books of the Noble Prophet’s Hadith (the series of Musnad and Sahih books) into French.
